“The Break Room”

The Break Room is a curated conversation for the street dance community and broader St. Louis dance scene. It exists because too many necessary discussions have been avoided, softened, or lost in translation over the years. Contributions disappeared. Context gets stripped. People who built, pushed, and protected the culture too often feel overlooked. This space is about correcting that.

Our culture has always expressed itself loudly and publicly. Through battles, cyphers, and moments of friction, we’ve never been silent. But expression is not the same as dialogue. There are realities that require intention, structure, and room to be fully heard.

This is not a panel. This is not a performance. It is a controlled environment for honest conversation, cultural clarity, and real accountability. The Break Room is about protecting what’s real, confronting what’s broken, and making sure the culture moves forward with integrity.
